Alfa 156 Gta Intrax Coilovers

Here for sale is a full set of used Intrax HDA coilovers. It's the one in the picture by itself without the helper spring and top mount attached. I took it apart to confirm the leak and as you can see all the required parts are there to rebuild it. It's not a huge leak at all, in fact it's barely noticeable and didn't seem to alter the way the car cornered with it on, it was more the way it acted during bump and rebound.

I contacted Intrax a while ago to ask what the rebuild cost would be and think they said approx. 100 Euro but I guess you could get someone in the UK to replace the seal. As you can tell they are adjustable and the blurb from Balance Motorsport' website is below. "HDA" forms the bridge to the high end suspension but still at an affordable price compared to overall costs of race and track car builds.

Having an external nitrogen reservoir as well as high end internals for damping guarantees a perfect ride under all circumstances. Ideal for reliable street use and track use as well. Adjustment: - Rebound damping-range in 50 positions. Other features: - Mono-tube damper construction. Advanced thermostat valve for constant damping at full temperature-range.

Options: - Internal check-valve for completely seperated compression and rebound. Can be combined with fully adjustable camber-plates where applicable - Can be combined with 40mm and 46mm main piston diameters.

Can be combined with 14mm and 22mm piston rod diameters. Choice of plated steel or INOX (maintanance-free stainless steel) 2006. Think they cost over the grand new but not sure. They worked very well on the car even after a few years and I would have left them on as the adjustment range was quite good.

It would have worked well going to track days and getting there on the softest setting and then adjusting them to a more firm setting. If you need more info please text 07877 337544/WhatsApp.
